Mr. Schutte’s Music Technology Class Post Compositions on NAMU
Students listened to the site to see what type of reaction they had to other schools/students’ work. They enjoyed listening.
Students tried very hard to make a song for the site. The opportunity is “real world” experience for them. The important part is that our students are listening to music and understand that making similar music is within their grasp.
In addition, students learned the process of developing their music blog and profile pages. Our latest tracks are the result of a class project. Students had to take traditional melodies and rework them. Students used Reason 3.0 and Sibelius for this project.
