Visual Art Portfolio Senior Student Exhibit
and Reception
Revere High School seniors participating in the Visual
Art Portfolio class created an exhibit of their artwork
in the Revere High School Library. A reception for the artists
was held on Tuesday, May 23, 2006. The students were: Roberto
DeSisto, Amanda Saraceno, Shera Van, and Lorrie Vega. Artists
discussed their work and
future plans with guests who attended the reception. Interviews
with the artists were printed and hung near to their artwork.
Future plans for all of the artists include college. Roberto
DeSisto plans to study Graphic Design at the New England
Art Institute; Amanda Saraceno will major in Biology, with
a minor in art at Regis College; Shera Van will continue
to develop her skills at Bunker Hill Community College before
transferring to a Fashion Design
program; and Lorrie Vega will be majoring in Graphic Design
at Butera School of Art.
