Danvers Bank Donates $1,700 for Revere
Public School Recorder Program
James McCarthy of Danvers Bank, and Patricia Pace, branch manager of
Danvers Bank in Revere, donated $1,700 to the Revere Public Schools fine
arts department for the fifth year. This donation will once again, help
support the recorder program district wide. Ms. Pace explained to the
students that she and the Danvers Bank are honored to support this program
because it is so important for young people to include music as part of
a well-rounded education. Every year for the past nine years third graders
receive the benefit of learning to read music and play together in music
class and perform for others at concerts and special events.
Third graders at the Paul Revere School, under the direction of Travis
Ramsey, music teacher performed at the third annual "Silver Recorder
Celebration' on Thursday, June 1. After the concert, Ms. Pace handed a
check for $1,700 to one of the students. Principal Nicholas Quaratiello
and Director of Fine Arts Karen Agnetta were in attendance.
