Garfield's Families Connect (GFC) Meetings

Garfield's Families Connect (GFC) meetings are hosted by our School Adjustment Counselors throughout the school year. Meetings begin at 8:30 am and end at 9:30 am. Spanish and Arabic interpreters are available and light refreshments are provided. For the safety of our students, all parents, guardians, and other adult visitors must show a photo ID when entering the school building.

GFC meetings are a great way to meet other families who have children attending the Garfield, to learn more about what is happening at our school, to have your questions answered, and to learn ways that you can support your child at home. Each month we focus on a different theme based on feedback collected from our families and we always send families home with resources and ideas that they can use.

Thursday, October 4th at 8:30 am

Welcome Back! Introductions, getting to know one another, and learning more about new things happening at the Garfield. You will hear from our administrators and other staff about some changes and new initiatives that this school year brings including new Report Cards and systems for grading students.
